Busch beer drinkers can get a $1 rebate for every inch of snow that falls in New York

Anheuser-Busch is offering a $1 rebate for every inch of snow that falls in select cities between Jan. 1 and March 20, 2020.

MINNEAPOLIS — Busch beer drinkers have been weathering all the jokes and teasing, waiting for their moment to shine. Well, here it is.

Anheuser-Busch is offering a $1 rebate for every inch of snow that falls in select cities between Jan. 1 and March 20, 2020. The rebates apply to Busch, Busch Light, Busch Ice and Busch NA.

The "Busch Snow Day" rebate is being offered in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, North Dakota, Nebraska and New York.

For Minnesota residents, every inch of snow that falls in Minneapolis during that set time period will equal $1 off a beer purchase. Busch drinkers will have to submit for their rebate online. Only one rebate is offered per person, and customers must be 21 or older.

Busch beer provides a "snowfall map" to forecast the drop in beer prices, thanks to a snow-related rebate.

Snowfall will be rounded up by the inch (e.g. 5.92 inches equals $6), and will be determined by the official NOAA Climate Data Online Search. The maximum rebate is $30.

Rebates are issued via prepaid Mastercards, and Anheuser-Busch said they will be delivered in up to eight weeks.

For Iowa residents, the rebate is determined by snowfall in Des Moines. For those in Wisconsin, Green Bay is the deciding location.
