LANCASTER, N.Y. —

The first ever Chillville Winter Festival is taking place Saturday in the Village of Lancaster. The event was put together by the organization Rediscovering Lancaster to encourage more people to visit businesses in the area.

A series of family-friendly activities were planned, and several businesses hosted different events to help participate.

Chillville ran from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Scheduled events included adult jazz classes, face-painting and visits from Elsa and Anna from "Frozen."
