This is How Walmart Starts a Food Fight

This All-American edition of "What's Trending?" for Tuesday, July 17th has everything: hot dogs, hamburgers, faux road rage, Patrick Hammer's chair dropping out from underneath him. It's an instant classic.

These are tough times. There is often a lot of discussion about our country being divided. The lines have been drawn this summer in a battle that can pit state and against state, town and against town, neighbor against neighbor: Burger State or Hot Dog State.

If this seems like a fight that would start at Walmart--well, you're right, it did.
The retailer released its 2nd annual Grilling Across the USA map.

Red for burgers, yellow for hot dogs.

According to their survey, only 10 states, mostly confined to the West Coast prefer hot dogs. All the other states, including New York, are Team Burger. So now when you head into work, you can tell Karen in accounting we live in a Burger state.

17 states apparently switched teams since last year.

Burger, Dog, Dog or Burger.

These are the questions of our times.

What's your pick?

In Florida, a sheriff's deputy could not even believe how slow a guy in front of him was going. He posted a video to Facebook detailing the whole ordeal.

"The nerve of this guy," he said. "He's literally going one mile per hour in a 30 mph zone. I mean, the guy's easily 100. He shouldn't be out on the roadways to begin with. I tried to talk to him and he snapped at me. I don't know what this guy's deal is!"

So, why didn't he arrest him? Click the video and see for yourself.
