So, your kid speaks with a British accent now

The Peppa Pig Effect is real, chaps

Does your thoroughly American child sound like a born and raised Brit? You're not alone. More on that to come.

First, though, is history repeating itself when it comes to how the media covers the royal family, specifically the Meghan formerly known as Markle?

George Clooney sure thinks so.

He weighed in on coverage of the Duchess of Sussex--showing frustration over what he says is the media is pursuing and vilifying her. Clooney compares it to how they treated Princess Diana.

"We've seen how that ends," he said adding, "if you didn't hide behind journalism, you would be an accomplice to a crime and would be going to jail."

Clooney made the comments at the Television Critics Association Conference where he was promoting his new Hulu series Catch-22.

There was no comment on Clooney's remarks from the palace.

Famously, The U.S. fought for its independence from Britain and maybe they are playing the long game here but more and more parents report their kids are developing British accents.

Why? This little piggy.

Peppa Pig probably needs no introduction for a lot of you. The animated TV show is based in the UK but is pretty popular here. In fact, it's so popular, parents say their kids are starting to sound like the show's characters.

Some moms report being called mum. One woman says her 3-year-old now sounds vaguely Australian. Melissa says Elliot has recently inquired about "going on holiday."

This is something most kids will probably grow out of and, let's face it, you'll probably hear much worse things coming out of your kids' mouths eventually. Cheers!

Stay in your lane.

Finally, Ford Europe would like to go to bed with you.

It's showing off another concept product that merges driver-assist systems with problems outside the car. This time they're tackling bed hogs with something called the "Lane-Keeping Bed."

Pressure sensors detect if one person crosses the mattress's center line and a conveyor belt shifts to put them back in place and ensuring a good night's sleep for everybody.

This is only a concept and now anything they'll be manufacturing for sale but still--I can't help thinking this solves one problem but it may cause others.
