BUFFALO, N.Y. — Explore and More, the Ralph C. Wilson Children's Museum, will mark its first Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at Canalside with a day of activities devoted to celebrating the civil rights leader.

In addition to a day of music, crafts and other activities honoring Dr. King's life and work, the museum will also collect donations of gloves, hats and socks for Gerard Place. The Buffalo organization provides housing and other services to single parents and their children.

Anyone who brings a donation of a new hat, gloves or socks will receive $3 off their admission to the museum for the day.
