Daybreak Recaps the Royal Wedding

After all the chatter and hype and speculating, tweeting, Lifetime movies. It's over. Like any good wedding we all have a little bit of a hangover but we also have some great memories as well.

Whether you couldn't wait to see it or couldn't care less, the Royal Wedding was certainly a spectacle.

Unlike any royal wedding we have seen in the past, Harry and Meghan's big day had a lot of personal touches and touching moments.

One of the breakout stars of the ceremony was Bishop Michael Curry--Buffalo born, of course.

His sermon seemed to have pretty much everyone cheering on social media. His message of love was inspiring and his spirited delivery to a crowd of largely reserved royals was incredibly fun to watch. St. George's chapel probably has never seen anything quite like it.

The flowers cushioning the chapel inside and out were taken to hospice groups and women's shelters. The flowers inside were left for weddings later this week--so some lucky brides benefited from choosing a late May wedding date.

Speaking of brides, one of our favorite post-royal wedding trends on social media was all of the women posting pics in their wedding gowns. You only wear it once but man the pics last forever so why not?

It was pretty hard to compete with the new Duchess of Sussex, though. She was beaming. While some were underwhelmed by her bridal look, others considered it iconic.

Either way, we wish the couple a lifetime of happiness. Cheers to them!
