LOS ANGELES — Get ready for some major changes when America’s Got Talent returns for its 14th season this summer.

Although Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel are both returning to the judges’ panel, Heidi Klum and Mel B will not be a part of the next season.

Instead, NBC has announced that Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough will be new judges sitting alongside Cowell and Mandel.

“The next evolution of the format brings in fresh expert eyes to join Simon and Howie on the panel,” says Meredith Ahr, President, Alternative and Reality Group for NBC Entertainment. “Gabrielle and Julianne are two of the most aspirational women in the business, on top of being electric entertainers with talent across disciplines. I am excited to see how their knowledge, compassion and sheer joy enhance the experience for acts and viewers alike.”

Tyra Banks won’t be returning to host this summer, either. Taking that gig is Terry Crews, the current host of America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

Auditions for the upcoming season are still underway. Interested acts can submit an online audition at AGTauditions.com up until midnight EST on Monday, March 4.
