BUFFALO, N.Y. — Thousands of people will celebrated all things winter in Larkin Square.

The Larkinville Ice Festival goes was held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, and it feature wintertime activities such as sleigh rides, snow yoga, alpacas, a hot chocolate bar, vendor market and more. 

There were also free samples from Paula's Donuts in honor of the newest location coming soon to Larkinville.

"People know Larkin Square as a summer destination, and we're really just trying to give people a reason to get out in January, celebrate the winter in Buffalo and have a good time," Kayla Zempsky of Larkin Development Group said.

Organizers say the event has grown so much since its inception six years ago that they plan on adding even more restaurants, shops, and businesses to the lineup for years to come.
