FIRST LOOK | Rock Hall rolls out plans to redesign entry plaza

Starting this spring, crews will redesign the Rock Hall’s entry plaza with food, drinks, “prime parking” for motorcycles and a concert stage.

CLEVELAND -- Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes are about to be unleashed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Starting this spring, crews will redesign the Rock Hall’s entry plaza with an outdoor cafe, “prime parking” for motorcycles and a concert stage.

See a gallery of image renderings below. App users can see the images HERE.

Here are the highlights:

- A bigger, badder, louder concert stage with killer live music from the best regional artists and national acts.

- Fresh grub, cold brews and a party-like atmosphere in a new beer garden and outdoor cafe.

- Bold public art featuring bright-red metal letters that spell "Long Live Rock."

- Prime parking for bikers on a new paved motorcycle area.

The new plaza will be ready for the Republican National Convention, which arrives in Cleveland this July.

“These updates are part of a larger, long-term plan to update the overall visitor experience at the Rock Hall,” spokesperson Shauna Wilson says. “Changes will start showing up as we lead into the summer season and continue on this year and next.”
