In recognition of Black History Month, the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is partnering with the Buffalo Association of Black Journalitsts (BABJ) on March 5th to provide an educational program and conversation about the diversity challenges which exist within the media industry. All are invited to attend this informational event from 8am-9am at new Northland Workforce Training Center, 683 Northland Avenue, Buffalo, NY.
Discussion will include the topics of appealing to today’s youth (i.e., tomorrow’s professionals) to exploring some challenges which remain in the workplace and society. A panel of journalists from local media outlets will share their perspectives as well as things they look for in developing meaningful stories.
