Aquarium of Niagara is celebrating the holiday season with new events

The aquarium is offering special holiday events from now until New Year's Eve.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Aquarium of Niagara wants to close out 2019 on an exciting note with all their guests.

From now until the end of the year, the aquarium is holding special events. There's three special holiday themed sea lion shows and two "Save the Penguins" feeding presentations every day.

The aquarium will also have reindeer games, scavenger hunts, photo stations, hot cocoa, and cookies throughout the week. For the grand finale, there's a special sea lion show at noon on New Year's Eve, complete with a ball drop and an apple juice toast.

The aquarium is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, but closes at 3 p.m. on New Year's Eve. Tickets are $14.95 for adults, $10.95 for children and free for kids 2 and under.

Visitors can save $1 on their tickets by donating a canned good for the Community Missions of Niagara Frontier.
