BUFFALO, N.Y. — Today, I’m talking about events happening on and around Saturday November 30th and Sunday Dec. 1st.

The weekend after Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Also known as Small Business Saturday and Restore my Sanity Sunday right before CyberMonday and then, I don’t know… what Flag Day?

Now, last year around this same time -- I got some feedback from a woman at arguably one of Buffalo’s biggest events of the year – The World’s Largest Disco.

She slurred.

She said to me, “I didn’t see you mention this!”  I was already in that half in holiday mode where you’ll do anything to keep the peace and half not sure I heard her correctly so I just laughed and said “YUP!” and kept walking.

She was right, of course, I didn’t mention the World’s Largest Disco and that’s because it was sold out! It doesn’t seem cool to tell you about something really fun only to tell you, you can’t go. Nevertheless, it’s still a huge event. Thousands of people are going to be there and it’s all for a great cause – raising money for Camp Good Days and Special Times. That’s definitely worth mentioning.

So, it’s going to be great...If you have your tickets already.

If you have anything you want mentioned in Festival Fest, email us: festivalfest@wgrz.com

And that’s Festival Fest – the greatest thing to happen to Monday since the three day weekend.

Have a great day and a great week and happy thanksgiving!
