BUFFALO, N.Y. — Hello. This is Festival Fest -- the thing I do where I talk about things to do in Western New York and today I'm going to be talking about things happening for Valentine's Day weekend.
I know how some of you feel about this holiday. So I thought, what might be helpful, if you're looking for love, is if I came up with some Western New York pickup lines.
Alright, so I kind of came up with these on the fly.

Okay. Here are some Western New York pickup lines.
"You ever break a table?"
"You got plans for Dyngus Day?"
"You wanna go to the Southtowns?"
"I was there when they put in the ice boom."
"Listen, I got a bunch of singles, whaddaya say we hit up a meat raffle?"
That last one might get you in trouble if you're not from around here.

That one got me in the giggles. After I thought about it, nope.
"Drums or flats?"
OR you can also say: "Here are some of the things that are happening this weekend, uh, let's check 'em out."
That is true love.
