Unique Eats: Stooges Stuffed Burger Bar

If you are tired of your burger toppings falling off when you bite in, this Lockport restaurant found a solution for you.

Lockport, N.Y. — If you are tired of your burger toppings falling off when you bite in, this Lockport restaurant found a solution for you.

Stooges Stuffed Burger Bar puts the toppings on the inside.

"When we go out to dinner and the kids get a burger and they put their ketchup and their mustard and whatever else on top and they take a bite, it slides off the top," Adrienne Seekins-Kuzma, a co-owner of Stooges, said. "So with the stuffed burger bar, nothing is on the top. Everything's in the middle."

Stooges Stuffed Burger Bar is turning your burger dreams inside out...or is it outside in?

The place, named for the owner's three kids Keira, Kolton and Joshua, opened in December 2017. They have been plating their made-to-order masterpieces ever since.

"You can either build your own with the listed ingredients that we give you or you can pick from the signature ones that we created," Seekins-Kuzma explained.

For example, there is the "Krazy" burger. That is a burger with homemade mac and cheese stuffed in the middle.

There is the "Chicken Parm Baby." That is a chicken burger with the spaghetti, sauce and cheese in the middle.

The offer chicken, beef or sausage burgers. Their house blend burger is ground chuck with a bit of strip steak and a bit of pork. All their meat is sourced locally from Scapelliti's.

If you are not a meat eater, it is not a problem. They have vegetarian and vegan options, too.

They also have a full bar with local wine from the next door winery called "Flight of 5."

"Whether you come with your family, your coworkers, your girlfriends, you're out for a night out on the wine tours...whatever you want to do, it's a great location to go," Seekins-Kuzma said. "The menu is great and you're going to get a burger like no other."

It's a burger like no other in a place like no other.

Old City Hall is on the National Registry of Historic Places.

"Whether it's their marriage certificate that they got here or it's been numerous bars and it's a location that they've been to, everybody has a story from this building," Seekins-Kuzma said.

Stooges is open Tuesdays through Sundays for lunch and dinner. They are located on Pine Street in Lockport.
