BUFFALO, N.Y. — The inaugural table hockey festival, exhibitions and championships will be hosted by Buffalo RiverWorks this weekend, and it's expected to draw people from across North America.

The three-day event starts Friday, and it will feature 50 hockey sets across the RiverWorks' floor. Elite athletes of the World Table Hockey Association will compete in three divisions: SuperChexx, SoHo, and Stiga.

A charity event will be held at RiverWorks on Friday night, and professionals begin play Saturday and Sunday. The grand prize is $1,000.

Buffalo will also host this event in 2020 and 2021.
