Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus hosts first 'beer choir' event

The idea is simple. People sing while drinking beer, making things a lot more fun, and encouraging people to belt out those notes.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Glasses and voices were raised—in song—at Flying Bison Brewing on Tuesday night.

The Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus hosted the city's first "Beer Choir" event, featuring drink specials, food trucks, and one good old fashioned sing-along.

Beer Choir is a national organization that hosts social singing events in pubs and breweries across the country.

The mission is simple: to make the world a little bit better by singing and drinking together.

The only rule? Sing responsibly.
