Aquarium of Niagara hosts Scuba Snooze sleepover event

The event gave children the opportunity to see the aquarium after-hours.

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — An event was held for kids in mind Saturday night at the Aquarium of Niagara.

The Scuba Snooze is a sleepover experience for the children to see the aquarium after-hours.

Pizza, snacks and breakfast are served, along with games and a special sea lion show, are all a part of the experience.

"We are going to be doing a scavenger hunt, we are going to be doing a touch tank experience, where they'll get to touch some invertebrates. They'll get to touch sea stars, a sea urchin, a hermit crab, and a channel welch, which is a sea snail," special programs host Veronica Arce said.

Saturday night's show saw about 30 kids come out to sleep with the fish.
