Joshua Robinson is a Reporter at WGRZ in Buffalo, NY, specializing in general news, feature news, and breaking news reporting.
Before his journalism career began, Joshua had never experienced snow, growing up in Fresno and Los Angeles, CA, and working in Las Vegas. During those years, he also explored a career in culinary art, studying at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, CA. Shortly after, Joshua was hired as a Pastry Cook on the Las Vegas strip, before returning home to Fresno to open a Pastry Department at one of his favorite childhood bakeries.
Joshua eventually stepped away from culinary art—and returned to college at Fresno State to pursue his Broadcast Journalism degree. Joshua represented the University as anchor for Global News Relay, a 6-hour worldwide newscast featuring student news organizations in US, UK, India, UAE, Bulgaria, Egypt, Indonesia, Lebanon, Germany, China, Japan, and Mexico.
Joshua’s broadcasting career began at KTMF, the ABC/Fox affiliate in Missoula, MT, where he climbed the ranks as lead reporter and backup anchor within his first year. Joshua reported across the entire state of Montana, including stories that gained national attention like the rapid ascension of Montana’s methamphetamine crisis, and the chaotic special election of Montana’s lone Congressman, Greg Gianforte.
To Joshua, Buffalo represents a perfect place to call home: the four seasons, an unmatched local food scene, incredible outdoor opportunities, a dynamic sports fan-base, and of course, incredible people who have embraced him with open arms.
