BUFFALO, NY -- A High Wind Warning as been issued from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 7 a.m. Wednesday for Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Wyoming, Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Erie and Genesee counties.
Strong winds may cause minor property damage and localized power outages, the National Weather Service warns. Drivers in high-profile vehicles are also asked to take extra caution.
Winds could gust up to 60 miles per hour out of the southwest.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 p.m. Tuesday evening for Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties for sleet, snow and freezing rain that could make untreated roads and sidewalks hazardous.
A Winter Weather Advisory for McKean County, Pa. is in effect until 12 a.m. Wednesday (midnight Tuesday).
