ANGELICA, NY--The National Weather Service confirmed that an EF-1 tornado hit Angelica in Allegany County Thursday afternoon.

The tornado had estimated wind speeds of 95 miles-per-hour and traveled just over four miles.

National Weather Service crews met with the Allegany County Emergency Services director Friday morning, and they surveyed two badly damaged areas before officially determining it was a tornado that hit.

Viewer Bob Nilsson shared drone video that he took of damage in Angelica, along County Road 16.  The damage is severe.

The twister caused damage to two Amish farms in the area. The strong winds ripped the roof off a barn and destroyed a saw mill on one of the properties.

There were dozens of downed trees, and you could see where the tornado carved a path through a nearby cornfield.

No injuries were reported.

The tornado in Angelica was one of three tornadoes in Western New York Thursday afternoon.

The other two were in Erie County. An EF-2 tornado hit Hamburg, and an EF-1 hit Holland.

There was also extensive damage in Orchard Park.
