HOW TO WIN!
The school with the most votes at the end of the contest (Sunday Feb 24th @ 6pm) will win a visit from Andy Parker and The Weather Machine!
2nd Chance Draw!
The Top 19 schools will be placed into a 2nd Chance Drawing. The higher your school finishes in the standings the better chance you will have to win the 2nd Chance Draw. 2nd Chance winner also receives a visit from The Weather Machine!
Extra Credit!
Send in Extra Credit projects (details) to increase you chances in the 2nd Chance Draw.
The Weather Machine is Going Green!
This is a great STEM learning experience for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The Weather Machine is a great learning tool for students to experience problem-solving, discovery, exploratory learning and actively engage a situation in order to find its solution. Again this year I'll be demonstrating the "Green Energy" elements of The Weather Machine and how they are all around us. These demonstrations are meant to inspire the scientist and inventor in all of us!
Plus, we will continue the popular "2nd Chance Draw" and you can even earn Extra Credit for sharing your weather projects with us on Daybreak... Plus we may show them on TV! Click on the Extra Credit icon below to learn more.

Use Social Media- Post on your Facebook page and extend your reach to alumni, friends and family.
Local Papers - Have them profile your students creative efforts to win the contest and get the community involved to generate votes.
Extra Credit- Have your school submit Extra Credit projects for extra chances to win! See Extra Credit section below.

Watch Daybreak each morning at 5:20am & 6:20am for Weather Machine Word of the day.
Go to WGRZ.com and use the word to vote for your school.
Voting is open to everyone and you may vote each day as often as you like.
This year we will reward schools who make an extra effort by allowing them to earn additional entries for the 2nd chance drawing.
Teachers may submit photos of weather projects and web links on the website.
Artwork can be dropped off at the station or via postal mail to Channel 2.
