Showers and storms moving in early Wednesday will bring times of heavy rain as a cold front approaches.

Partly sunny skies will be enjoyed for some of the day. Then another round of rain and storms in the evening as the cold front moves through. Some storms could contain gusty winds.

Rain can be a good thing right now since we are well below average with rainfall. So far Buffalo is over two inches below average this month of May, and nearly four inches below average this warm season since March 1st.

Cooler, drier air will move in behind the front with temperatures in the mid 50s Wednesday night and in the mid to upper 70s on Thursday.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the S. Tier. Highs in the low to mid 80's
