BUFFALO, NY- Buffalo Sabres GM Tim Murray and Head Coach Ted Nolan are looking to put this disastrous season behind them.

Murray described the year as "Completely unacceptable" during a press conference Tuesday afternoon.

Both Murray and Nolan say they're entering next season open to any and all changes, and that no one is guaranteed anything.

"When I addressed the players before the team picture, it was about expectation being higher, it was about the culture we want to produce here, and how this year was completely unacceptable," said Murray, "I want to rebuild properly here, which takes time. But it doesn't have to take years. So we're not going to take shortcuts; we're going to do it right."

Murray did say missing the playoffs would not be unacceptable next year, but it would depend on how they do it.
