MONTREAL (AP) - Brandon Prust and Tomas Plekanec each had a goal and an assist to lead the Canadiens over the Buffalo Sabres 3-2 on Saturday and extend Montreal's win streak to five games.

Alex Galchenyuk also scored for the Canadiens. Carey Price made 23 saves for the win.

Tyler Ennis and Zemgus Girgensons scored for the Sabres. Jhonas Enroth stopped 16 shots.

With the win, Montreal also extended its point streak to 10 games.

Prust gave the Canadiens the lead in the second, scoring his third of the season 19 seconds into the period.
