BUFFALO, NY- Doubleline Capital founder Jeffrey Gundlach has expressed an interest in purchasing the Buffalo Bills, 2 On Your Side's Adam Benigni has learned.
Gundlach, an Amherst native, expressed interest in purchasing the Bills prior to Ralph Wilson's death.
A source tells 2 On Your Side that Gundlach is interested in having former Bills quarterback Jim Kelly join his potential bid. Representatives for Kelly declined to comment on the possibility of joining Gundlach's bid.
Among potential bidders for the Bills, Sabres owners Terry and Kim Pegula remain strong candidates to win the bidding process, according to sources.
Gundlach's current interest was first reported Wednesday evening by The Buffalo News.
