BUFFALO, N.Y.- Buffalo Bills WR Mike Williams said he's ready for a fresh start during his introductory press conference Monday afternoon.

"I'm a person that always falls down and gets back up. I'm sure you guys know about my career, always down," Williams said, "I'm going to get back up. I'm going to keep on fighting and you're always going to get the great Mike on the field."

Williams, a Buffalo native and Riverside High School attendee, was traded to the Bills from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week in exchange for sixth round pick.

Buffalo head coach Doug Marrone and Williams have a history together. Williams played for Marrone while he was the head coach of the Syracuse Orange.

Williams however left Syracuse during Marrone's first year as coach. Similar off the field issues have dogged Williams throughout his NFL career.

"I've got a chip on my shoulder, and I'm going to out and prove that they made a mistake and that this is a great decision for the Buffalo Bills," Williams said.
