Bills quarterback EJ Manuel was in New York on Thursday, and confirmed that he did in fact have a knee "procedure" after the season.
Manuel, speaking with the Buffalo News among others, says it was a minor procedure on his left knee that took about 20-minutes to complete that "cleaned up" ligaments.
Manuel suffered the most recent knee injury during the Bills week 15 win at Jacksonville. He missed the final two games of the season.
Manuel suffered three different knee injuries during the year, starting in the preseason, and also injured his right knee during Buffalo's week 5 loss at Cleveland.
Manuel says he will wear a knee brace on his left, and possibly his right knee moving forward.
