JACKSONVILLE, FLA.- After a season marked by close losses Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone believes the 27-20 win Sunday over the Jacksonville Jaguars is the type of win his team didn't used to get.

"We've been in these type of games throughout the year and have come up on the short side of it and I give the players credit for hanging in their today because today we came up on the side we wanna be on," said Marrone.

Six of the Bills 14 games have been decided by three points or fewer. The Bills are 3-3 in those games.

Bills QB EJ Manuel may embody that growth. After a horrible start Manuel rebounded for a solid performance, highlighted by two touchdown drives in the second quarter that were both over 70 yards.

"I think that's a part of our maturation as an offense, especially with young guys and the skill positions, understanding the situations," said Manuel.
