ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Cardinal O'Hara capitalized on second and third opportunities to beat Martin Luther King High School 76-47 in the Class A final of the New York State Girls Basketball Federation Tournament of Champions Sunday afternoon.

Cardinal O'Hara (26-3), representing the Catholic High School Athletic Association, had 61 rebounds and forced 38 turnovers.

The Lady Hawks were led by tournament MVP, senior Keyonte Edwards, who had 16 points and 16 rebounds in the championship game. Jontay Walton added 20 points and Kelsey McCarthy chipped in with 15 points in the win.

Martin Luther King (23-1), representing the Public Schools Athletic League, got 21 points and 13 rebounds from Shaliyah Graham and 13 points from Deja Daniels.

Cardinal O'Hara defeated Pittsford Sutherland, 73-65, to advance to the final. Martin Luther King had a bye into the championship game.
