BUFFALO, N.Y.-Canisius beat St. Joe's 65-40 late Sunday afternoon at the Koessler Center.

St. Joe's scored the first two points of the game and never led after that.

Four players scored in double figures for the Crusaders. Howard Washington led all scorers with 15 points. Ryan Richards Jr.had 13 points. LaTerrance Reed and Stafford Trueheart each had 10 points. Washington hit three three point shots.

For St. Joe's John Scaglione was the top scorer with 11 points.

With the win Canisius improves to 21-2 on the season. The Crusaders are unbeaten in league play. They have one league game left before the playoffs start. Canisius will host Bishop Timon Tuesday evening at 5 o'clock.

The early start is because the Canisius hockey team plays St. Joe's at eight o'clock at Niagara University's Dwyer Arena Tuesday evening.

Its the fifth straight win over St. Joe's for Canisius.
