WEST SENECA, N.Y.-Monday at the West Seneca Ice Rink the Trojans of West Seneca East beat the Flames of Williamsville East 4-3 in overtime.

The first time the teams played the game also went to overtime. That one ended in a 2-2 tie.

Tyler Trubish scored twice for East and Jason Cohen tied the game and forced the overtime with a goal in the third period.

For the Indians Mike Benaquist, Travis Hicks and James Wieczorek were the goal scorers.

With the game tied at 2 early in the third period Hicks gave the Indians the lead. After Cohen tied it and sent it to overtime Wieczorek got the game winner with just 26 seconds showing on the clock.

With the win West Seneca East improves to 8-0-2 on the season.

Head Coach Don Goldie told Two on Your Side's Stu Boyar "we displayed resilience. We killed off penalties. Two guys who got thrown out were big contributors but we .battled back and stayed competitive and pulled out the win. It was good to see."
