BUFFALO, NY- Like many schools across the country, the UB Bulls hit the gridiron this weekend for the team's annual spring game.

The Blue team beat the White team 20-8 largely thanks to 114 yards rushing and two touchdowns from running back Jordan Johnson.

UB Head Coach Jeff Quinn says while the game provides a chance for the players to get out in front of some fans and get back to game situations, the real value in this game is in evaluations.

"We've got a lot of quality film now, wanted to put them into a game-like situation, and setting. I saw some things that I really liked, there are some things we need to work on in all three phases. When it comes to being a great football team, you've got to have everybody locked in every single play throughout the entire four quarters of football."

Coach Quinn said he also liked what he saw from several of his younger players when it comes to leadership qualities on the football field.
