The UB Bulls made their way west on Tuesday.

The team boarded a charter flight and took off from Buffalo and at 9:00am and made the five hour flight to Boise where they will face San Diego State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on Saturday night.

UB head coach Jeff Quinn knows the significance of the school's second ever bowl appearance.

"These guys have earned it. They're going to go out and enjoy the festivities, but nothing more important than going out there and earning a good victory for this football program."

After going 9-27 in the first three years under Quinn, Buffalo went 8-4 this season.

The Bulls will face San Diego State on Saturday night with the game starting at 5:30pm eastern. It will be broadcast on ESPN.
