BUFFALO, N.Y.-Wednesday night Canisius and Niagara renew their rivalry at the Koessler Center. The game is sold out. Tipoff is scheduled for 7-pm.

Griffs Face Niagara at Sold Out Koessler Center

Niagara is 18-4 in their last 22 meetings with the Griffs and they have won 9 of the last 12 meetings at Canisius.

The teams split their series last season. Canisius won at Niagara 77-70 in February and Niagara won at Canisius last January. Niagara won at the Koessler Center 66-65 when it was ruled what would have been a game winning shot by the Griffs Billy Baron was launched one tenth of one second too late.

The Griffs come into the game with a record of 12-7 and 6-2 in the MAAC. Niagara is 5-14 overall and 2-6 in MAAC play.

The game feature's a matchup of two of the top scorers in the country. For Canisius Billy Baron averages 23.1 points per game. He is third in the country in scoring. Niagara has the leading scorer, Antoine Mason. Mason is averaging 27.6 points per game. That leads the country.
