Jim Kelly continues to recover from cancer treatments, but that won't stop him from being in full attendance at his five-day Jim Kelly Football Camp this week.

"I was nervous I wasn't going to make it, but I'm feeling better and will be there every day," Kelly said this morning on The Wease Show on Rochester's 95.1 The Brew. The former Bills quarterback will also attend his one-day clinic in Pittsford next week.

Kelly has lost much weight during his second battle with cancer. He said he's been getting by on mental toughness.

"I didn't want to make this a big deal because so many other people are going through the same thing but I've had so many people reach out and say, 'If Jim Kelly can get through this, so can I.'"

Bills first round pick Sammy Watkins, and Hall of Fame receiver Andre Reed also plan to attend.

The camp begins Wednesday, July 9 and runs through Sunday, July 13 at Sweet Home High School in Amherst. Signups are still open and walk-up registrations are also accepted.
