Lego will produce a Ghostbusters set, just in time for the 30th anniversary of the 1984 movie.

The set will feature the Ectomobile, or Ecto-1, vehicle and minifigures of the movie's main characters with their ghost-busting proton packs.

The Ecto-1 will include "ghost catching equipment and an over abundance of sirens," according to Lego.

The Ghostbusters set will be available starting in June and sell for $49.99, according to Lego.

The design was selected from Lego CUUSOO, a crowdsourcing platform that allows consumers to submit ideas for products. Ideas that receive 10,000 votes are then reviewed by the company and the consumer who came up with the idea gets 1% of net sales of the product.

The Ghostbusters idea was selected for production because the Ecto-1 has "broad worldwide appeal and the fact that the model lends itself to challenging and creative building for both children and adult fans," according to the company release.

Brent Waller, a video game artist in Australia, submitted the design that inspired the Lego set, the release says.

This will be the sixth user-generated design produced by Lego. Others included the NASA Mars Curiosity Land Rover and the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future.
