LOCKPORT, N.Y. – Fire investigators are still trying to figure out the cause of a fire in Lockport that killed a man and woman in their 50s.
Police arrived at the home on Crosby Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Saturday and found the woman near the back door. They weren't able to revive her.
Firefighters found the man inside a short time later.
Now, they've called in help to figure out the cause.
Lockport police say the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is always called in to handle their fire investigations.
They expect to release the names of the victims on Sunday.
