NIAGARA FALLS, NY - All the pomp and circumstance was part of a day full of ceremony on the campus of Niagara University to formally inaugurate the university's 26th president.

The Reverend James J. Maher joined Niagara by way of St. John's University, a sister school in the Vincentian tradition, where he worked for 23 years.

Several local dignitaries and elected officials took part in today's ceremonies, along with students, alumni and members of the Vincentian community.
