BUFFALO, NY -- A man who was shot on the East Side early Sunday has died at Erie County Medical Center, according to a Buffalo Police Department statement released Sunday evening.
The 21-year-old man who later died and another 20-year-old man were hit with bullets while in their car in the area of Genesee Street and Wasmuth Avenue just before 2 a.m..
The vehicle ended up on the eastbound side of the Kensington Expressway (Route 33) a short time later, which is where emergency personnel caught up with it.
The 20-year-old man was treated and released from ECMC.
