BUFFALO, NY - Some good news for the local job market. Governor Cuomo announced Sunday that Blue Bridge Financial will be relocating its headquarters from Williamsville to the Electric Tower in downtown Buffalo.
The move preserves 12 current jobs and will create 71 more jobs over the next five years, according to a statement released by the governor's office.
The provider of equipment financing had been considering moving out of state from its Williamsville headquarters. The company qualifies for $586,173 in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits from Empire State Development in return for its proposed investment and job creation commitments, the governor's office said. Empire State Development is the state's economic development agency.
