BUFFALO, NY - With the Buffalo City Schools in crisis there's plenty of attention on the upcoming school board elections. And while there could be more than a dozen candidates, there's only one who has officially filed the papers to enter the race.
The race is for three at-large seats, which means the candidates will be looking for votes city-wide. The first candidate to submit the required petitions was former local FBI Office Special Agent In Charge Bernie Tolbert.
Tolbert has political experience. He ran unsuccessfully for city mayor last year. And he hopes to tap into his supporters from that contest.
Investigative Reporter Steve Brown has the rest.
