BUFFALO, N.Y.- The Buffalo Police Athletic League did not make a decision Monday as to whether they'll hold the Gus Macker tournament this summer.

Members of the association say they're still planning on having it, but there are major concerns that need to be addressed.

"We need those components, the community support, the sponsorship from the corporate world, we need volunteers. Again if we can get those things, I'm certain we can put on a great event this year in the city of Buffalo," said Police Athletic League executive director Maurice Cox.

The Buffalo Police Athletic league has not set a firm date for their next meeting.

Currently the Gus Macker Tournament does not list Buffalo on the schedule for this summer.
