Buffalo, NY - Thursday, the Buffalo Preservation Board considered a local landmark application for the Delaware Court building that stands at the corner of Delaware and Chippewa.

That's the building that Delaware North and Uniland are seeking to tear down to build a new tower complex for Delaware North's new corporate headquarters.

The proposal was tabled at Thursday's meeting for later consideration. Board members told the applicant that they needed more information before rendering a decision. The next regularly scheduled board meeting is December 19.

Landmark status would not prevent the old structure from being demolished. However, it would give the community more input control on whatever developer Uniland wants to do at the site.
