CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y.- A dispute involving five women outside the Burlington Coat Factory in Cheektowaga led to one women getting hit struck in the head with a hammer.

Police say two women were at the Burlington Coat Factory when a vehicle occupied by three women arrived at the store.

According to Cheektowaga Police, Alicia Lombardo, 42, was armed with a hammer when the conflict began. They say that during the altercation, Lombardo dropped the hammer,and it was then picked up by Shantia Houze, 25. Police say Houze struck another individual in the forehead. The victim refused medical treatment at the scene, but eventually went to St. Joseph's Hospital on her own.

Police say Houze was arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault, 3rd degree criminal mischief and criminal possession of a weapon.

Lombardo was arrested and charged with menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment, according to police.
