UB would not disclose the amount Clinton was paid for her speech when requested earlier this month, saying in a statement: "Agreements with speakers are maintained by the University at Buffalo Foundation, a private non-profit organization. These agreements, including information about speaking fees, are not public information."

There are limited public documents regarding the UB Foundation. Those that exist however suggest that the UB Foundation has more than half a billion dollars in assets.
