BUFFALO, NY-- The 31st annual Taste of Buffalo was held this weekend in downtown Buffalo.
Organizers were anticipating more than 450,000 people to enjoy about 200 different menu items from 60 restaurants this year.
There were also several new additions to the festival this year, including a new lawn-fete style beer tent and trays to carry your food items around (you had to ask for them at the ticket booth).
The Taste of Buffalo is sponsored by Tops. Several local restaurants were named award winners in a variety of categories. The judging took place Saturday morning.
An honorary panel of judges including representatives from the local media, government and business sectors chose winners in a variety of categories. Two On Your Side's Ron Plants, Andy Parker, Melissa Holmes and Kevin O'Connell participated in the judging.
