BUFFALO, NY: A West Seneca man, who was accused in a D.W.I. crash that killed the town's democratic chairman, has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor drunken driving charges.

Robert Styn will be sentenced to three years probation for the fatal crash. A grand jury determined the accident would have probably happened even if Styn had been sober. Styn's blood alcohol content at the time of the crash was almost three times over the legal limit.

It is believed the victim, Daniel McParlane, crossed the center lane on Mineral Springs Road and struck Styn's vehicle after McParlane hit a patch of ice. McParlane was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened right before last Thanksgiving. .

Styn will be sentenced in June.
