CHEEKTOWAGA, NY - One of the fans cheering on the Paralympic sled hockey Team USA in Sochi earlier this week is an aspiring sled hockey Paralympian himself.

Tyler Ball returned home to the Buffalo-Niagara Airport Sunday evening. The Make a Wish Foundation sent him and his family to the games.

Tyler tells us he had an amazing time in Sochi, and that the Russians made it very easy to get around. And this only motivates him more in his goal to get on the team for the 2018 games in South Korea.

Tyler says the highlight of the trip was definitely the US upset win over Canada in the semifinal … and then meeting members of the team afterward.
