ORCHARD PARK, NY-- Orchard Park Schools are warning parents after a student was approached by a suspicious person over the weekend.

In a letter sent home to parents, the district says Orchard Park Police contacted them after a teenage boy was approached by a male on Larned Lane on Saturday. According to the letter, the male asked the teen if he needed help and asked him into his vehicle.

The teen did not get in his vehicle and went home.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 60's with white hair and balding. The man was driving a red minivan with scratches.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Orchard Park Police.
