The 200 level seating on the east side of the stadium, the new club seating section will contain over 1,600 premium seats. With an attached 8,500 square-foot enclosed club concourse featuring food and beverage services, flat screen television and private restrooms.
New York Bulls Initiative Chairman and New Era Cap President Pete Augustine said, "Almost everybody I meet is surprised about the breath and scope and size of the university. They think Buffalo is a small town; UB must be a small school. It's time to change that thinking."
There is now a UB Stadium East Club campaign to raise money for first class premium seating. They have secured over $2.5-million for the the East Club which will be similar to suites at Ralph Wilson stadium.
Francis Letro serves chairs the UB Foundation and is on the NY Bulls Board of Advisors. He is excited about the future.
"You can't be a great university without having a great academic program, complemented by a great athletic program. Student-athletes are one of the most valuable and precious resources that we have," he said.
To recruit and develop elite D-1 players, there is a plan to construct a $20-million UB Field House.
2 On Your Side's Claudine Ewing also spoke with White about the change of the logo, which now features New York in a more prominent way on displays and the court.
"We want to own New York State plain and simple. We own it academically, its time for us to own it athletically, it's time for us to take our position as the owners of college athletics in NYS and put Buffalo in the leadership role in that effort," said Peter Augustine, chair of the advisory board.
